Meet Dr. Pang

After obtaining a PhD degree from University of Florida in Entomology and Nematology, Dr. Pang started her career as a research scientist for Bayer in the Research Triangle area. Dr. Pang has published more than 10 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. In her free time, she loves volunteering and help people. Dr. Pang found her passion in dentistry during volunteering activities. After shadowing several dentists, she decided to pursue her 2nd doctoral degree from UNC Adams School of Dentistry, a decision she is proud of to this day.

Dr. Pang has been practicing dentistry in the RTP area for years. She believes everyone deserves great dental care. There is no barrier to dental care regardless of language, income, insurance, or race. Dr. Pang is honest and down to earth. She personalize treatment plan and payment with patients. Dr. Pang has a passion for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Pang has completed in-depth trainings in root canal treatment. She is great with tooth pain and emergency treatment. She loves to see emergency patient and relieve pain for them. Walk in patients are always welcome.

Outside of work, Dr. Pang loves to spend time with her husband and two children. She has a passion for cooking for relatives and friends. She enjoys the great outdoors and loves to hike and ride bicycles. She speaks fluent English and Chinese.

Meet Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim is a board certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon. His education is impressive. He obtained DMD degree and Master degree in periodontics from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and a PhD degree in Oral Biology from UNC at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. His research was on what makes people prone to develop inflammation around the gums.

Dr. Kim has more than 20 years of experience in periodontology and general dentistry. He had practiced dentistry in South Korea, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina. His clinical experience includes but not limited to scaling and root planing (deep cleaning), periodontal disease treatment, soft tissue and bone grafting, crown lengthening, osseous surgery, LANAP, LAPIP, and implant. Dr. Kim also offers oral, nitric oxide, and IV sedation, a safe and effective way to minimize patients’ anxiety and discomfort.

Dr. Kim is an adjunct professor at the periodontal department of UNC at Chapel Hill. He lectures courses and teaches students in clinic. Dr. Kim has lived in Australia, Germany, and South Korea before came to the United States. He speaks English, Korean, and German. In his free time, he loves to ride his unicycle, read books, and spending time with his children.
